Pathfinder: Kingmaker was released in 2018. This video game adaptation of the tabletop RPG managed to wow long-time fans, owing to deep systems and customization options. Now, we’ll see what the sequel, Pathfinder: Wrath of the Righteous, can offer. Character creation alone could take you hours, and you’ll start off as a wounded traveler who witnesses a demonic invasion. Prologue and Act I

  • Shield Maze – Solve a couple of puzzles, one of which nets you the Radiance sword.
    • Radiance upgrades – The weapon you got from the Shield Maze can be upgraded multiple times throughout the campaign.
  • Tiefling Traitor/Stolen Moon – Find out who spilled the beans.
  • Tavern Defense/A Stay of Execution – They don’t call it Defender’s Heart for nothing.
  • Market Square – Here’s an overview of what you can expect in the first major area of the act.
  • Feud of the Faithful: Ramien or Hulrun – In Market Square, you have to choose between these two feuding fanatics.
  • Starward Gaze: Ilkes, Aranka, and Thall – The Desnan adepts are scattered, and you’ll need to find the trio. Maybe you’ll even unlock the Azata Mythic Path.
  • A Common Cause: Where to find allies – Before you could even conclude the first act, you’ll have to recruit allies who’ll help your army.
  • The Burning City: The Gray Garrison and its statue puzzle – You’ll be assaulting this citadel, facing off against dozens of demons, to reach the Wardstone.

Act II

  • Conundrum Unsolved puzzle – Oh, what do we need to do with these slabs and symbols?
  • Leper’s Smile – The fury of the swarm is here. You might just be able to find the stuff needed for certain Mythic Paths.
  • Lost Chapel: A Strike from the Sky quest – Your companions have been taken, and it’s up to you to rescue them.
  • Lost Chapel: Shrine of Desna and rescuing Arueshalae – If you manage to acquire some well-hidden items to solve a puzzle, we can recruit this friendly succubus early in our Pathfinder: Wrath of the Righteous campaign.

Act III

  • The Crusade – This is considered as the meta-game in Pathfinder: Wrath of the Righteous. You’ll lead several armies against countless hordes.
    • Crusader armies: Marching across the map, assigning generals, and recruiting units
    • Crusade management: Forts, buildings, and outposts
    • Decisions: Events, decrees, and war council advisors
  • Sacred Lands puzzle/Weary Guardian quest – Step on the colored plates in the right order so you can make it to the exit.
  • Missing Scouts – Find the scouts from Captain Seilkind’s squad.
  • Areelu’s Laboratory – Learn more about Areelu’s plan.
  • Ivory Sanctum – This major dungeon has a bunch of puzzles.
  • Playful Darkness boss – This optional boss in the Midnight Fane is quite tough.

Act IV and Act V

  • Abyssal Conspiracy achievement – This hidden achievement will have you uncover a conspiracy in Alushinyrra.
  • Pulura’s Fall – There’s a puzzle based on astrology/zodiac signs.
  • Ineluctable Prison – This dark dungeon has many traps and puzzles.
  • Iz major decisions – There are several important decisions to make in this ruined city.
  • Ending slides – Which conclusions can you see once you’ve cleared the Threshold dungeon?

  • Nameless Ruins – What seemed like a regular companion quest for Nenio turns into an all-encompassing hunt for masks, followed by nearly a dozen puzzles.
